Elder Holland

Our stake is having our stake conference next weekend and guess who is coming..... ELDER HOLLAND! He is one of my favorite apostles because he is such an amazing speaker! So in preparation for his coming to speak at our stake conference we have been asked to read the books of Matthew, Luke, and John. Brandon and I have been doing this as a family and it has just brought us so much closer to the Savior. One of the stories that we really love is the story of the blind man when Christ puts the clay on his eyes and tells him to go wash in the river and he is healed. We love this story because it starts with Christ being asked if his parents sins or if his sins were the reason that he was blind and Christ basically says he is blind so that God can show his miracles and show how amazing he is. That sure does change your perspective on trials doesn't it? We are challenged and tried in this life so that we can have a way to remember that we need our Savior and give Heavenly Father the opportunity to work miracles in our lives. AMAZING!

We have very very busy weeks so we will mostly only be posting on Saturday/Sunday but we will continue to post! Check the other tabs too because we will add pictures and updates on projects that we are working on!

Have a great week!
