Turner is doing GREAT! He is now 13 lbs (Wowza!) and 25 inches long! He is eating between 4 and 6 ounces at each meal which is about every three to four hours during the day and about every 6 to 7 at night (Praise the Lord for sleep! We all are a lot happier when we are well rested!).
In the last 5 weeks some fun things have occurred:
Turner took his first plane trip to see Grandpa and Grandma Hebdon (and we can't forget about the cousins' and aunts and uncles too!). He did pretty good on the plane ride to Seattle but wouldn't sleep, I think there was too much going on for him and it was right in between two naps. But he didn't really fuss or cry a whole lot, just looked around. Brandon held him the whole time (that stinker!).
We had an amazing trip with lots of love and laughs! My Sister in Law, Tawnee and Grandma Elaine threw us an amazing baby shower in a big white tent in the back yard. The weather was perfect and the decor and food were fabulous. The best part was all the loving people who came and who showered us with love (and gifts!!!). We had an amazing time and are super grateful for everyone who put in all the hard work to make it happen.
On the way home we missed our flight! There was a lot of traffic going over the pass and we thought we gave ourselves enough time (3 hours) but with traffic and having to take back the rental car, we got to the airport too late to check out bags or check in for the flight, even though the plane was still there being loaded. So we hung out in the airport all day until the next flight which was at 9pm that night. We actually have a pretty good time people watching and hanging out and Turner did great. He slept the whole way home (Brandon held him the whole time again!) and we got home and in bed by around 12 pm. The good part about that for me is that I didn't have to go to work the next day so I could nap.....Brandon unfortunately did and the poor guy was exhausted. He has since recovered, so don't worry too much!
Turner also had his first photo shoot! Here are some of our favorites:
We also all took a trip out to Blythe to visit Greg and Adena and their family! It was great to see them and how big their kids are getting and we loved that they were able to finally meet Turner.
We are now planning for our next trip up to Washington which will be the week of the 21st so that we can be there when Chase comes home from his mission! So fun!
